TERRA Environmental was retained as environmental consultant/subcontractor to the Department of US Navy under the General Contractor's contract to provide comprehensive environmental management services. Responsibilities encompassed managing technical, operational, financial and staffing aspects of environmental project components including plan development, submittal preparation and approval coordination, and fieldwork oversight and execution. Environmental activities included soil screening, sampling and analysis, groundwater treatment and discharge under NPDES permit, LSP Services for MCP compliance, and implementation of Excavated Soil Management Plan with temporary onsite reuse coordination and offsite transportation and disposal of up to 5,000 cubic yards of urban fill soils.
