Biography
Mr. Peterson has over 20 years of experience in the environmental consulting and services industry with a working experience with responsible leadership role from Field Scientist, Field Operations Supervisor, Project Manager, Director of Remediation Services Group of a large environmental engineering and currently Manager/Owner of Terra Environmental, LLC. Mr. Peterson has a proven track record and ability to multi-task across a broad range of projects at every stage of development and execution. Specific experience includes the development, proposal preparation, planning, executing, managing, and documenting various environmental projects requiring site investigation, assessment, remediation and health and safety services. He has successfully completed and/or managed hundreds of individual projects including site investigations, containment, and remedial actions such as contaminated soil removal, treatment/stabilization, reuse, recycling and disposal of soil and groundwater including health and safety programs and site-specific hazardous materials health and safety plans, landfill closures, asbestos in soil and the planning, design, installation and operation/maintenance of air, soil vapor, and groundwater extraction, treatment and discharge systems including radon and sub-slab depressurization systems. Regulatory compliance including Massachusetts Contingency Plan, Massachusetts Solid Waste Regulations, EPA RCRA and TSCA regulations, NPDES Storm water and Remediation General Permit. Project experience includes development projects for both private and public owners, universities, major infrastructure improvement projects and landfill closures.
